Wolfenstein Day One PC Patch notes

Hey guys -- wanted to post some of the things that will be implemented when you download the update tomorrow on Day One for Wolfenstein PC.

Here are the highlights:

- Fixed issue causing the Healing icon to remain after dying.
- Sprint functionality has been modified so user can sprint longer, but has longer duration before being able to sprint again (pm_Stamina changed from 5 to 10, pm_StaminaThreshold changed from 1 to 5)
- Quick voice chat can be binded to keys via the console (the new binds are _needEngineer, _needMedic, _needSoldier, _needHealth, _needAmmo)
- Control options now feature separate binds for Use (resurrect, objectives) and Item (Ammo, Health, Satchel)
- Reduced how far packs are thrown
- Reduced how far grenades are thrown
- Added ability to change cross hair appearance through the menu
- Global chat now disables properly if disabled through the Server Launcher.
- Fixed bug causing the grenade ammo indicator to reflect having one more grenade in your inventory.
- Audio countdown has been readjusted
- MP43 melee attack speed has been slightly decreased
- Fixed issue causing the crouch icon to remain after dying

We need a spawn shield for the player being revived

Nice improvements - gameplaywise. Though, where are the performance improvements? The game runs like **** on my pc :s

Ok, so some gameplay elements have been altered. Fine but not great.

What we want to see in the next patch:

Where is my spectate mode ? Is there a wolfTV ? A friendlist ? (pc)

Sorry for beeing pessimistic ... this sounds more like copper than gold ...

This i dont understand ... Openbeta is ment to get rid of bugs on a large scale ... failed in that ...

Now youll get angry customers ... and will have to patch the game to gold at own cost .. coz publisher will be out fast ...


I have been disgusted by ETQW in that matter even with the openbeta ...

start making a 1GB patch if you want to fix all the stuff.

Man, I don't care about the melee speed for MP43, it's like when you released ETQW and added something about hog horn under the water or something, people just **** laughed on your faces.

Start making improvements for movements, optimizing the game, make strafe like ET, make the feeling smoother, release wolfTV and SDK and stop doing the **** mongol with melee ****

leave green arrow indicatiors for team -- get rid of red indicators on enemy...

and ffs please get rid of the wallhack that marks the doc carrier -- it's okay on cod games where it's not the main gametype (actually not even then -- that's what completely ruined sabotage from being a decent/viable gametype), but in wolf you're simply KILLING the bliss that is true OBJ gameplay -- the HALLMARK of the franchise...
