"Internet: Broadband connection and service required for multiplayer"

This would lead me to believe that Internet activation is NOT required. If this is true, way to go ID! Can someone confirm this?

Looks like Wolfenstein will meet my anti-copyright protection requirements. IE, being able to play the game if the software developer ceases to exist or the game activation ceases to be supported.

I wonder if it'll also run on the upcoming Windows 7 OS?

I d like to be polite so i think that min req are just ridiculous.
With this hardware in ET with tweaked cfg you getting 40-50 FPS in light maps and in maps like gold, fuel you just see something in screen moving.

These are afterall minimum specs, it's not like they expect you to run the game on such PC.

Since, afaik new Wolf will be multi-threaded i think it will be very stuttery and almost impossible to get smooth gameplay on anything less than dual/quad or more... Still, with a juicy vid card (aka 4870/280 or higher) you can prolly run it good enough on a P4/Athlon, but then again you'll get bottleneck from the weak CPU.

don't forget that tech 4 is very tweakable beyond the ingame 'sliders'.

i have no doubt that i'll be able to get this running smoothly at 1280x768 on a P4 2.8ghz. i did with both ETQW and FarCry 2 (and from what i've been reading, the only difference between this and the ETQW graphic engine is the flashy new "deferred shading", which i'm sure can just be turned off, like nearly everything else in tech 4).

2.2Ghz Dual Core
1.0GB NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GT(Is it GT?) Graphics Card
3.5GB RAM
Windows XP
Everything else is good.

My Laptop specs are:
2.26 Ghz Dual Core
256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series Graphics Card
4GB RAM
Windows Vista
Everything else is good aswell
