Blah, damage control in action...
Where were you, Sokal, in the last 5 months when tons of ideas were poured here on a daily basis?
Now you decide to listen? Even now you are as tightlipeed as ever not saying anything concrete!
If I had anyhing to say about this mess it'd be to at least come clean, admit you got it all wrong and be as open as you can be on what you're doing to fix this! None of this is happening even now, let alone the fact there are alot of believers still feeding you productive feedback...
Too little, too late!
Prove us wrong!

P.S. It's even more disturbing that they had a far better version ready 17 months ago (according to Wolf1337).
W.T.F were you guys thinking butchering everything that has to do with RTCW?

Sooooo pis.sed off!

Do game devs not read forums before they decide how to make a game follow on/sequel...??? RTCW gamers have been on about rtcw 2 for years not just months. 95%+ of the old rtcw gaming community said they should leave the gameplay as it is but just update the graphics and maybe a little tweak or 2 yet they still bring out a total new game which most people do not like. Single player is not an issue here, as it wasn't in the original rtcw. The multiplayer game is what people are interested in and also the biggest seller and to be quite honest if you had released a demo of this i can honestly say without a doubt the sales you have had would at least be halved.. or it this a reason why a demo was not realeased????...We want RTCW as it was then.. NOT ET.. NOT ETQW NOt console based conversions and NOT this pile of crud you have released... LISTEN TO WHAT WE, THE GAMERS WANT!!!!

Respect and Peace out :)

Well its good that they are working on fixing the many problems that plaque this game. Id also agree with the problems listed in the feedback posts so I wont go into those issues again in this thread. My concern is will these fixes make it to the console versions of the game? (and I mean mp related, not the technical problems like the game not loading for people). I know that the PC community will get love as they are so avid and dedicated to making the game even a shadow of what it used to be, but what about the 360/Ps3 customers that purchased this game and also wants to see the community survive on the console platforms?

I am worried because I actually enjoyed ETQW on the 360 and I'm positive that it died out because it was never patched at all. Meanwhile the PC got a few patches, even one out the the pockets of ID to maintain some respectability. While I was pleased to see something being done for the community, I was equally upset that only part of the community was catered to. Yes I know that Activision eventually dropped support for the game, and that it was a splash damage game, but it was still an Id game as well, and one can argue that ID/Activision relations were better then than it is now.

Anyway my point is now that Endrant has been fired, ID is no longer with Activision, and the customers bought a substandard, unfinished product, who are we susposed to place our faith in to help fix this game? I really hope that when the facts regarding what will be fixed, how long, and most importantly, what consoles will get the patches applied to them, its done for ALL WOLFENSTEIN FANS, and I hope its done in a timely manner.

Zapp/Snoops, there's no need to go back and ask what went wrong and why it happened. Let's just worry about the future of the game and post constructive feedback as requested.

Splash Damage were the ones that dropped money into the 1.5 update, not id. SD also had nothing to do with the console ports as they were licensed out so any problems that resulted of the port weren't any of their doing.

SD > id any day anymore to be honest.

I've been playing IdSoftware since Wolf3D, I think I deserve to say what I think...

This game is seriously unacceptable and is not a Wolfenstein title at all. I'm disgusted with this game and all who made it for just overwriting the whole essence of the Wolf Single Player campaign that made First Person Shooters historic and legendary. They have managed to kill the entity once and for all and its very saddening that we will probably never get it back due the overwhelming force to push console gameplay into the PC gaming environment. Why idSoftware allowed this to happen is a question I will always have.....if I want a MOTHER FU*()(*)CKING console I'll buy one...you have just destroyed idSoftware PC, I repeate idSoftware PC PC PC PC PC PC PC PC GAMING!!!! """"I DON"T WANT TO PLAY A CONSOLE WHEN I HAVE A PC CAN YOU ID/RAVEN GET THAT"""""".

I still want to support idSoftware if they will do this..

remarket Wolfenstein under Zenimax
remove the objective based gameplay
put the ability to save back in.
....basically do games like id Software does games again....

The fact that the game sucks has nothing to do with the consoles... it just sucks period.

A nice proof is that RTCW was the same exact **** thing on Xbox and PC.... execpt is was 8vs8 on Xbox and 16vs16 on PC....

several people in the constructive criticism thread mentioned a classic mode, something like that would be cool! I still say stop porting out the console to pc and just fix the game for pc.

I see no update/status here.

Actions speak louder than words.
Time is of the essence.

Why should anyone thank anyone for correcting a mistake.
I still see no explanation or apology to the core consumer.

err wake up, their core consumer is the console gamer has been for ages now. Why they even bother with the pc is beyond me, not good business sense at all,

You know exactly what you need to do for consoles, theres 2 platforms no differences in hardware or software across each platform like there is in PC's so smaller development costs AND you can sell the games for half as much again as for the PC

now do you still wonder why you get a s**t game for PC's and f*** all support :P
